Woolly sunflower (Eriophyllum lanatum, Asteraceae) is a native perennial found across western North America from California to British Columbia and east to Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, and Utah. It reaches 12 to 24 inches tall in well-branched clumps. Yellow composite flowers bloom in summer above leaves covered in woolly gray hairs that conserve water by reflecting heat.

Woolly sunflower is drought-adapted and suited to dry, well-drained sites. Detailed cultural requirements, pest and disease associations, and cultivar information have not been documented. The profile is a stub awaiting enrichment.
