Montbretia (Crocosmia × crocosmiiflora, Iridaceae) is a hybrid corm-producing perennial, the most commonly encountered Crocosmia in gardens and one of the most widely naturalized. It reaches 2 to 3 feet tall with arching stems of trumpet-shaped flowers in shades of orange, yellow, and red from mid-summer to fall.

Montbretia shares the cultural requirements of the genus: sun to part shade, moist well-drained soil, Zones 6a to 9b. It spreads freely and is classified as invasive in multiple regions including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and parts of coastal North America. The cultivar 'Diablito' is in the trade. Twospotted spider mites are the primary pest concern.
