Mountain pink currant (Ribes nevadense), also called Sierra currant, is a broadleaf deciduous shrub in the Grossulariaceae family native to southern Oregon, Nevada, and California at 4,500-7,500 ft elevation. It reaches 3-6 ft tall and produces reddish to soft pink flowers in drooping clusters on previous season's wood.

Mountain pink currant is hardy in zones 6a-8b and prefers full sun to shade. It naturally occurs on moist mountain sites and along streams. Five diseases are documented. Detailed site preferences require further enrichment.
