Garden Visits

I visit public gardens and arboreta around the Puget Sound region to see how plants perform in different sites and microclimates. Each page here is a running log: what I noticed, what was blooming or struggling, and how things changed since last time. The species list grows with each visit.

Photos and bloom dates from these visits feed into HortGuide's plant profiles, so observations made at one garden sharpen the data everywhere on the site. Gardens are sorted by most recent visit.
