Roundleaf snowberry, also called huckleberry-flowered snowberry, is a deciduous shrub native to western mountains, reaching 3-5 feet tall with round to oval leaves and pink flowers. The plant produces white to pale pink berries on slender stems.
Roundleaf snowberry is extremely cold-hardy to zones 3-7 and thrives in sun to part shade with well-drained soil. It spreads via rhizomes and is useful for native plantings, wildlife habitat, and erosion control. The plant tolerates poor soils, drought, and moderate shade once established.
